Dr. Md. Rafaat-Ul-Islam Khan, an active chain food business professional who is leading in this industry from 10 years. He is a Doctor by profession who is confirming health issues along with food & beverage and hospitality management sector. He had been worked with Bangladesh Medical College and ShaheedSuhrawardy Medical College Hospital, the renowned medical college hospitals of Bangladesh.

After completing his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College, he was Honorary Medical Officer of Dhaka Medical College in Dermatology and Venereology Department; where he has learned the basic medical and hospital management system.He was also an Honorary Medical Officer of ShaheedSuhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the same department to improve his skills and development of his expertise.

To improve his expertise he has been moved to London, UK and has done his M.Sc. in Clinical Dermatology; where he has got the knowledge of ultra-modern technologies and treatments. While gathering his knowledge he discovered that the food is one of the main reasons for being sick and suffering from various diseases. He gave a thought of improving the food quality and improving this sector to serve the people a healthy food which will make people happier and keep away from illness.

After completion his M.Sc. he had been moved to Thailand and has done his training and former doctor in Laser and Dermato Surgery department at Ramathibodi Hospital Bangkok. Beside his main profession he starts to gather knowledge about food industry and planned to build a stable empire of this sector.

When he was done with his all training and fellowship he moved in Bangladesh again and takes over the charge of Khabar Dabar & Pitha Ghar Restaurant, Cream & Fudge and PaanShupari to fulfill his ambition and his dream which he was planning through the long time.

To keep maintain his profession; he is currently working in Impulse Hospital as a former Doctor along with being the Managing Director of the companies. He has done very hard work to build these businesses to a form of acceptance and a brand of trust by serving quality foods and beverages.

He makes the KhabarDabar&PithaGhar Restaurant for the most trusted and tasteful traditional food and dessert house of Bangldaesh. Cream & Fudge for the best international dessert chain restaurant and top ranked choice of the youth. He made the PaanShupari for the best traditional freshener (betel leaf) brand of all time in the history of Bangladesh.

Mr. Syed Rafiqul Hasan has 38 years of experience in Bangladesh and Abroad with extensive hands on experience in hospitality management, office administration, logistics, in store management in hospital.

He had overseen menu preparation and management for several major hospitals in Dhaka, such as, Lab Aid in Dhanmondi, United Hospital, Gulshan, Institute of Child and Mother Health (ICMH), Matuail, Dhaka, and BRAC.  He has managed numerous programs involving catering services, such as, marriage ceremonies, birthday ceremonies, conferences and workshops, and various types of social programs.  He has been consulted for catering service design for hospitals, educational institutions, and industrial organizations.

Abdul MuneimBaksh is a veteran catering management professional having over 15 years of experience working different catering company as well as in local restaurant chains. He very much oriented in corporate clients and managed BATB Canteen, opened and managed BICC Convention hall under Orion group, has been opening staff for Fantasy Kingdom. Besides he worked with Radisson Water Garden Hotel and Seagull (Cox’s bazar) for a considerable time. 

He started his career doing “National Certification Course on Food & Beverage Service from Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation. National Hotel Tourism Training Institute (NHTIT)”. He kicked up his career from the very root level of this industry at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. 

He believed in changes in career progression. He has been a tour organizer and senior tour operator of Green Bangla Tourism for more than one year. He adapted the organizing and operation management skill from there which is helping him to maintain a swift operation in day to day work. 

He has worked in various places to prove himself ready for this industry. He has got a chance to show his skill at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) operated by AgrabadAccom-Consortium Ltd. As a Food & Beverage Senior Suvervisor. He has gained academic certificate on “Food & Beverage”. Also awarded as a memory maker and for service promise from Fairmont BAB AL BAHR, Abu Dhabi (Accor Group), certified by TUV Nord for essential Food Safety and so on.

His passion is to make connectivity to gather knowledge which is the precious tool of raising business. He is an energetic, ambitious who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task. He is accustomed to working in a challenging and fast-paced environment, particularly when dealing with multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

After working with multiple catering houses, star ranked restaurants and top class institutions, he is currently working with Khabar Dabar Catering as a General Manager.

Profile of Executive Chef

Rafiqul Islam, an International Multi Cuisine Chef who has versatile experiences of working in home and abroad. He has got broad experiences of 16 years in this Chef Industry, who has gained and certified by many worldwide organizations for his excellence.

Starting his career from Abacus Thai & Chinese as a chef and then going through by Prince Party Center, Dish & Dessert, Strawberry Thai, Chinese and Indian Restaurant he went to Abu Dhabi, Dubai for his further training and experience in multi cuisine.

While living in the UAE, working in Al Massa Hotel and Paragon Hotel as a chef turns his experiences into another level. He has learned multi cuisine food and training in multiple sectors regarding food industry and applied through it by 8 years in UAE.

He has got his multiple training and certifications on Essential Food Safety Training (EFST) in Abu Dhabi. Food and Beverage Production in National Hotel and Tourism Institute ;Banglaadesh Parjatan Corporation and the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.

After coming back to Dhaka, he has joined in June & Zaeif Group (Kashundi); Handel 25000 students and 5000 teachers in North South University Canteen. Later he joined Khan’s Kitchen; the biggest and largest kitchen in South Asia as an Executive Chef.

Now he has got his excellence in Bengali, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Turkish and Arabian Cuisine. He is currently one of the best Multi Cuisine Executive Chefs in town right now.

Currently, he is working as an Executive Chef at Khabar Dabar Catering. We are thinking of a big goal by having him with us.

Profile of Operation Manager

Rahman Rony, an unbeatable Operation and Procurement personnel who has the vast and unique knowledge in Catering Industry. He has ten years of experience in this industry with proven track record. He has been worked with the top listed catering of this country.

He has worked with Spice Catering for four years as an Operation Manager where he start his journey officially. He has to manage all the operations and procurements for the company as well as to manage all the staffs and kitchen employees. Rooster Scheduling, Setup planning and Event setup was the main focus of this career where he proved himself the best.

His next move was his life changing decision to switch over the company. He joined Monsoon Catering as a Senior Operation Manager and worked there for next four years. Here he has got the in total experiences of a catering company as example stock maintain, inventory management, kitchen management, purchase monitoring. Best part of his responsibilities is to maintain liaison and communicate with the clients.
